- Developed in-house major repairs for Aviall Inc. under FAA SFAR 36 approval authority (Technical Instructions) for PWA JT8D, PWC PT6/JT15D, Rolls-Royce Spey & Tay, GE CFM56/T700, IAE V-2500, Garrett TPE331, Allison A250 Engine Components. Over 200 MRB's and Technical Instructions were processed in salvaging the Engine components.
This resulted in total of $2 million cost savings to the airline customers and $1.5 million outside vendor sub-contract work reduced for Aviall. - Assisted IAE V-2500 OEM in developing a database for repairs on engine components. This resulted in "Aviall" being authorized as the only Warranty Repair Shop in North America.
- Provided customer service support in repair data evaluation, timely quotes assistance, and warranty repair work.

MANAGER, POWERPLANT ENGINEERING:
Coordinated between flight operations, line maintenance and engine shop to collect performance data of the fleet consisting of DC-10, B-747/737/707 and Airbus A300. The program consisted of in-flight condition trend monitoring of GE-CF6/CFM56 and P&W- JT9D/JT3D engines. The ECTM data was used to assess hardware condition, performance improvement, and increase service life of the critical parts. The program increased the engine MTBR and reduced the fleet dollar operating cost (DOC) by 10%.
